I know how stressful it can be to coordinate photos—there are outfits to choose, a location to select, and so many expectations to live up to, right? Take a deep breath, because I’m here to help! Get in touch so that we can create a custom session that will best reflect your story at this moment in your life.
Once you have chosen which type of session will best meet your needs, and we book your session date, I will send you my outfit and preparation tips. I will also send you my digital Family Inspiration Guide to help you with ideas for incorporating your finished images into your home as artwork (wall art, albums, and other printed keepsakes). Your homework is to choose your outfits, send me photos of any walls in your home you may want to decorate with art, and get ready to have fun!
Before Your Session.

During the session, I’ll use a mix of prompts and movement to get natural photos- for the most part, I want you to forget I’m even there! For very young children, I like to focus on play-based movement. Bring along a favorite toy or activity, and we’ll focus on the family interacting and playing together! In-home sessions are the best way to capture small moments of your day-to-day lives or favorite activities to look back on. Choose a favorite book to read to your child, play dress-up, or play together with a few of your child’s favorite toys.
During Your Session.

I’ll post a few Social Media Sneak peeks the week after your session, and within about one month you will receive your online gallery! Along with your gallery, I will send you your customized wall art design suggestions. You will actually be able to see exactly how these designs will look on your walls (that’s what those photos you sent me were for)! You’ll get your image files as a download through your online gallery, and if you’ve chosen to add an album, we’ll get to work on the design. Most clients have an album in their hands within three to four months.

If you’re hoping to download your files, post a few on social media, and then put them in a drawer somewhere never to be seen again – I’m just not the photographer for you. I believe that part of my job is to help you cherish and share your memories forever. The possibilities are nearly endless, but don’t worry, I am here to help you design your wall art galleries and curate your heirloom album.
We will work together to incorporate your captured memories into your own home—ways to print your photos and hang them on your walls, ways to adapt the photographic art on your walls as your family grows and changes and has new experiences, and other long lasting ideas to keep your memories both safe and accessible.
Your photographs are meant to be cherished, preserved, experienced and passed on; not quickly bypassed in your social media feed.
